In modern printing, there’s a distinct lack of hot lead and blocks of type. Instead, digital files, aluminium, chemistry, ink, water and alcohol deliver quality which was unimaginable even five years ago.
The process
- Artwork
Our digital workflow takes your digital files and manages them to produce contract proofs.
From proof to plate
When the proofs are approved, they’re transferred to aluminium, using one of our computer-to-plate devices.
Ink on the paper
Our image control system accurately manages the process of transferring these images on to the substrate (usually paper), through one of our three B1 printing presses.
Fine-tuning
The operator and the technology carefully monitor the mixture of ink, alcohol and water.
Finishing
Each press has a coating device; this delivers a superior product finish and allows the product to be handled immediately. So we keep costs and lead-times as low as possible.
