Three more J Thomson employees begin the company's management training programme.
Mark Jones (pre-press), Kyle Roberts (finishing) and Richard Banner (printing) have all entered into the J Thomson Management Training Programme. The programme, which runs from 2018 until 2021, was devised with the help of Julie Turner at JTMS - a company providing external training to help individuals work on their personal and corporate development.
This is the second management training programme of its type at J Thomson Colour Printers, the first concluding in May of 2018. The previous programme - which featured Stephen White, Gordon MacDonald and Scott MacNair - saw each candidate assigned a mentor and challenged to complete numerous business training tasks.
Throughout the three year programme, the candidates also received personal development coaching, which challenged each participant in many aspects, particularly areas of weakness or lack of self-belief.
Following the completion of the first programme, Kevin Creechan, J Thomson Managing Director, stated that it had been an "undoubted success" and will prepare the participants "for the rigours of management, should the opportunity arise."
Everyone here at J Thomson wishes Mark, Kyle and Richard all the best with the programme and looks forward to seeing them in the boardroom in the future.
